Marjorie A. Rabiau, Ph.D. Montreal Psychologist

Dr. Rabiau is a fully bilingual (French and English) licensed Montreal psychologist and member of l'Ordre des Psychologues du Québec. She specializes in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) which is a scientifically supported therapy. She obtained her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from McGill University and has worked as a psychologist at some of Montreal major hospitals. Through these positions, she has gained invaluable experience working with a wide array of issues and populations. Her two main areas of expertise are CBT and family therapy. She is presently involved in both clinical work and clinical research. She has presented her research at international conferences. In addition to her clinical work, she has also been teaching psychology courses at McGill University and l’Université de Montréal.

Dr. Rabiau's main theoretical orientations are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Systemic Therapy but she also draws on different techniques depending on the need of her clients. She provides support and guidance and teaches tools to help achieve goals and attain a greater sense of well being.
